1. Which countries do you assist with obtaining a license?

We provide consultancy and human resources services for healthcare professionals seeking to obtain a license in Dubai, Abu Dhabi (UAE), and Qatar.

2. Which professions are accepted for obtaining a license?

We offer consultancy services for doctors, physiotherapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and nurses.

3. What professional experience do I need before starting the licensing process?

  • General practitioners and dentists: At least 2 years of experience in Dubai, 5 years in Qatar.
  • Specialist doctors: At least 3 years of experience in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, or Qatar. This experience can be in public hospitals or private institutions.
  • Physiotherapists, psychologists, pharmacists, and nurses: At least 2 years of experience in Dubai and 5 years in Qatar.

4. What documents are required to obtain a license?

The required documents will be provided to you in detail after signing the contract and making the payment. These documents will include those required for official procedures in your country, as well as in the UAE or Qatar.

6. How does the application process work?

  • The contract is signed and payment is made.
  • The required documents are communicated to you.

  • If you do not meet the requirements to become a consultant, the process to take the specialist exam starts, and once successfully completed, the license is granted.

7. Can I become a consultant?

If you hold an American Board, European Board, Canadian Board, Arab Board, or England Board and have worked for at least 2 years in the respective countries, you can become a consultant. However, if you have worked for less than 2 years or not at all, having a board certification alone is not enough to become a consultant. However, having a board certification will give you an advantage in the job search process. If you meet the requirements to become a consultant, you do not need to take any exams.

8. Can I work in two cities at the same time?

You must obtain separate licenses for each city. It is mandatory to obtain separate licenses for Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Similarly, the Qatar license is independent.

9. What exams do I need to take?

  • UAE: All healthcare professionals must take an equivalency exam to work in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Specialist doctors take exams in their field, while general practitioners take a general medical exam. The exam language is English.
  • Qatar: Specialist doctors are not required to take an equivalency exam. However, general practitioners, physiotherapists, pharmacists, psychologists, and nurses must take an equivalency exam in English.

10. What happens if I fail the exam?

If you fail the exam, your application process will be paused. However, you have the right to take the exam up to 3 times.

11. Do you provide resources to help me pass the exam?

Yes, we provide the necessary resources and access to past exam questions to help you prepare for the exam successfully.

12. How long does document verification take?

The verification and approval process for the documents usually takes 1-3 months. Having your documents verified by the Dataflow company alone is not sufficient; notary and consular approvals and other official processes are also required. Without completing these, even if verification is done, you may face issues during the employment process.

13. Can I obtain licenses in two cities or countries simultaneously?

Yes, you can obtain licenses for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar simultaneously. We offer discounted packages for those seeking multiple licenses.

14. If I get my license, can my spouse, children, or parents come with me and get a visa?

Yes, after obtaining your license, you can apply for visas for your spouse, children, and first-degree relatives. The details of this process are managed by your employer.

15. Can I pay in installments?

Unfortunately, installment payments are not available. All processes begin once the full payment is made.

16. Can I contact doctors who work there?

We cannot share the personal details of our clients due to privacy regulations, as per their request. However, you can check the references section on our website and try to contact them yourself.

17. Can I trust job postings on the internet?

Most online job postings are scams, often asking for payments under the guise of visas and health insurance. Legitimate job postings are generally filled through human resource agencies.

18. Do employers provide housing and school assistance?

If you are not a consultant, employers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi generally do not provide housing or school assistance. However, in Qatar, these benefits are often offered to all doctors. In both countries, you will receive accommodation assistance for your first month, typically an assigned hotel room or apartment.

19. Is my salary taxed?

No, there is no income tax in either Dubai or Qatar. Your salary will be paid without tax deductions.

20. What happens if my employer doesn’t pay my salary?

In both countries, employee rights are strictly protected by law. If you do not receive your salary, your employer will be held accountable through legal channels.

21. Is finding a job guaranteed?

Our human resources package provides professional support to help you start your job. We aim to help our clients find a job within an average of 6 months.

22. Do I get annual leave?

Yes, you are entitled to 30 days of annual leave and 15 days of sick leave per year.

23. Is there a retirement plan?

No, but for every year you work, you will receive a gratuity payment equivalent to one month’s salary. When you leave the job, you will receive a payment equivalent to one month’s salary for each year worked.

24. Is there unemployment insurance?

Yes, there is unemployment insurance. If you lose your job, you are eligible to receive unemployment benefits for 3 months.

25. Will I have health insurance?

Yes, your employer will provide health insurance. Many employers also offer health insurance for your family, covering up to 3 children.

26. Is malpractice insurance provided?

Yes, by law, your employer must provide this insurance, ensuring you are protected in case of any issues.

27. What if I can’t find a job after getting my license?

28. What do I need to do after obtaining my license?

Once you obtain your license, you can start working. If you find a job, your employer will handle the license renewal process. License renewals can be done online, and after the second renewal, some documents may need to be re-verified.

Each city has its own licensing rules. When choosing between Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Qatar, consider factors such as working conditions, salaries, and living standards. If you plan to work in multiple cities, you must obtain a license for each.

31. Why is the licensing process so long?

The licensing process involves document verification, translation, notary, and consular approvals, which take time. This process generally takes 1 to 3 months. In addition, the time needed to take and receive results from exams can extend the process.

32. Why might my license application be rejected?

Your application may be rejected due to incomplete or incorrect documents. Failing the exam can also lead to rejection. However, if your application is rejected due to errors or omissions in the documents, we will refund your payment in full.

33. Who handles my visa process?

Your employer will handle your visa process and ensure your entry into the country.

34. Where can my children go to school?

35. Will I need to travel for any part of the process?

No, we handle all the necessary steps on your behalf, so you do not need to travel during the licensing process.

36. Will there be any additional payments?

If the relevant health authority requests additional documents or renewals, you may need to pay an additional $106. Beyond this, there will be no further charges.
